One invitation, one budget
A budget invitation grants access to that budget only. Other budgets on your account stay separate. Existing account holders can accept an invitation while signed in.
Private details, shared totals
Within a shared budget, private blocks hide their details from other members. Their allocations can still be included in shared totals. Hiding a block from your own view is different: it only changes what you see.
Two codes, different jobs
A beta access code lets a new tester create an account. A budget invitation lets an account join a particular budget. New testers need beta access to register; existing accounts do not need another beta code.
Before you delete your account
Budgets you own are deleted for all members unless you first complete an accepted ownership transfer. The account-deletion review explains what happens to shared and private content before you confirm.
